I’m blizz.
Here is a little about me.
My name is Bolea Ionut-Catalin and I’m from Romania.
I’m a Desktop, Web and Mobile Flex Developer.
I’m currently programming in Flex 4.6 and Air 3.0.
I’m part of Adobe Flex User Group Romania and AIESEC – Galati.
Beside about 26 months of Flash Platform, I have studied other programming/scripting languages as well:
BASIC D/G and Borland Pascal were my first
After, those too, I studied C and then C++, at basic levels.
I started learning OOP, and Dynamic programming with Java; and , yes, I believe Java is a real, very solid programming language. I was attracted to it’s cross-platform advantage.
Java lacked lot of UI experience, back then, so I learned C# with WPF/WCF when .NET 3.5 SP1 Framework was released. I fiddled with WinForms, too, but it wasn’t too User Experience friendly, either.
I did my first, big program in this language, involving API’s and very advanced programming for stock market news and quotes.
I then found out a programming language, that had amazing graphics possibilities , was cross-platform, and looked a lot like Java.
That’s when I felt in love with Flex. It had everything I ever wanted from a programming language. That’s when I started learning high-level programming : real OOP, Design Patterns , MVC, and Agile Development.
I also learned SQL . I started with MySQL, after a while when I learned Java. When I learned C#, I also studied MSSQL. At school, I had learned Oracle 9.0i and 10g.
I’m also very fond of HTML and JavaScript, and some PHP, too.
Besides programming, I’m also very passionate about the stock market, financial instruments, research and technology.
Now, I work at developing business mobile applications for Android, TabletOS and iOS.
